Overview

Niblem ("we", "our", or "us") builds desktop and mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. We keep data collection to the minimum necessary to operate our services.

Information We Collect

Depending on which Niblem application you use, we may collect:

• Email address — collected at purchase to generate and deliver your license key
• Device identifier — a one-way hashed fingerprint used to enforce per-device license limits; not reversible to personal information
• License key — generated from your email and stored to validate your purchase
• Anonymous analytics — aggregated usage data such as session counts; never tied to your identity

We do not collect passwords, payment card details, browsing history, location data, or any content you create within our applications.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate, deliver, and validate your software license
• To enforce device limits on license activations
• To respond to support requests you submit
• To send transactional emails — license delivery and purchase receipts
• To detect fraud or abuse of our licensing system

We do not use your data for marketing without explicit opt-in, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Payment Processing

All payments are handled by third-party processors such as Polar.sh. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Please review your payment processor's privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured servers with encrypted transport (HTTPS). License records are retained for as long as your license is active. Local application data — preferences and your license key file — is stored on your own device and is not accessible to us.

Third-Party Services

Our infrastructure may use the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Polar.sh — payment processing and order management
• Render.com — cloud hosting for our license validation API
• Google Play / Apple App Store — for applications distributed through these platforms

Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You may also revoke a device license activation to free a slot at any time.

Children's Privacy

Our applications are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our applications after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
